About these terms

These terms cover your use of benchindia.com. A hiring engagement with a company is governed by a separate written agreement, which prevails over these terms where they differ. The service is operated by the BenchIndia Team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

The service

BenchIndia introduces companies to engineers who may be able to join quickly. Candidate sourcing, verification and matching are currently done manually. Stated turnaround times (such as about 5 days to a shortlist) and joining timelines (such as within 15 days) are targets based on verified availability, not guarantees.

We do not guarantee that we will find a suitable candidate, that any candidate will accept an offer, or that any hire will join or stay.

Fees for companies

There is no upfront recruitment fee. The indicative success fee is approximately 10–12% of the candidate’s first-year salary, payable when the candidate joins, with a replacement available if they leave within 90 days, subject to the agreed policy. The definition of “first-year salary”, payment timing, replacement conditions and any exclusions are set out in the written agreement, and applicable taxes such as GST are added where they apply.

Engineers

Registering does not promise an interview, offer or placement. Please provide accurate information, including your availability and joining date. We will not present your profile to a company without your consent. Engineers are not charged any fee.

Acceptable use

• Submit only accurate information that you are entitled to share.
• Do not submit another person’s details without their permission.
• Do not misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or send spam through the forms.

Information on this site

We work to keep the site accurate, but it is provided “as is” for general information. Content, branding and design are owned by BenchIndia. Photographs are from Unsplash and used under its licence.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, BenchIndia is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site or service, and our total liability for any claim relating to a hiring engagement is limited to the fees paid to us for that engagement. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru have jurisdiction.
